Abbey Boys wonder- WHERE IS THE SNOW?
So far this winter season, there has not been the slightest hint of a major snowstorm. Unseasonably warm temperatures left all of the Abbey boys in a state of shock as they departed from the school for Wiinter Vacation( it DESERVES to be capitalized). The following week back fom break was a cold front that sent us all running indoors. Topper and Al have hinted of unusal happenings for Thursday, January 15th, but the sky had hinted of snow several times before and left us all disappointed. There have been flurries, cold fronts, worse cold fronts and rain- no snow. What is the point of the weather being so cold if there is not going to be any snow? The weather forecasters always take a beating around this time of year for incorrect forecasts, correct and unappealing forecasts and distracting L's and H's on the screen . But really, we DEPEND on them for school closings, snow predictions and everything else to get us out of school. We need you brave weather forecasters! Come to our aid!
Much Confusion over senior Lounge
The Senior Lounge is that spacious, roomy,
excellently equipped, carpeted corner of the
wrestling room. Many questions remain
unanswered, so a list of them has been
created:
-How did they ever get permission to do this?
-Who vacums? Is it considered part of the cleaning
crew's job? Why should that be so?
-How did they get an airmoir in the wrestling room?
-How much did it cost?
-Is the TV real?
-How much did the couches cost? Hmmm? Hmmm?
-Are the gamesystems plastic?
-Are cockroaches holding out there?
-The jealousy......it burns!
-Why is there no MIDDLE SCHOOL lounge?
-Why are only A formers allowed to also hangout there?
